Henrico's Trusted Eye Doctor Since 1985

A Trusted Cornerstone of Henrico Eye Care Since 1985

For four decades, Dr. Clifford Roffis & Associates has been dedicated to putting patients first in every aspect, providing personalized care and staying up to date with the latest technology. What began as a single-doctor practice on the east side of Henrico is now a team of four optometrists handling everything from annual eye exams and diabetic retinal monitoring to dry eye treatment and specialty contact lens fitting.

We are proud to be considered a trusted cornerstone of the Henrico community. We see patients from Sandston, Highland Springs, New Kent, and across the Airport Corridor. We're accepting new patients, and most vision and medical insurance plans are welcome.

Comprehensive Eye Exams in Henrico

A thorough eye exam does more than update your glasses prescription. It evaluates the health of your eyes from front to back, checks your eye pressure, and screens for early signs of conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration. We use digital imaging and OCT at every appropriate exam. We see patients of all ages, including children starting at age five.

Eyeglasses in Henrico

Your glasses are with you from the first drive to work until the last thing you read before bed. You rely on them while driving along I-64, reading lesson plans, reviewing paperwork, helping customers, or reading a bedtime story with your grandchildren.

Generations of Henrico Families Trust Us With Their Vision

Here's what brings most of our patients through the door.

Dr. Clifford Roffis & Associates runs one of Henrico's most comprehensive dry eye clinics. If you've been told just to use drops, we can do more. The Topcon Dry Eye Imager maps the surface of your eye so we treat the cause, not just the symptom. Evaluations, imaging, punctal plugs, amniotic membranes, and prescription therapies are all available on-site.

Diabetes affects the blood vessels that supply your retina. Those changes can develop without symptoms, which is why annual monitoring matters. Our diabetic eye exams use Optos wide-field imaging and OCT to document your retinal health over time. Most medical insurances are accepted.

Standard contacts do not work for every patient. If you have keratoconus, an irregular cornea, or a history of failed fittings, scleral lenses and Rose K designs may provide the clarity and comfort that regular lenses cannot. Our team has specific training in specialty lens fitting.
