Dr. Mike Osterhoudt grew up in a small town in upstate New York. He served 6 years in the US Navy on a nuclear submarine before earning his Bachelor of Science degree at State University of NY. In 1999, he graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He practiced optometry for 14 years in the US Air Force before retiring and joining our practice in 2013.
He is an active member of the Richmond Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Osterhoudt lives in Williamsburg with his wife, 5 children, bearded dragon, cat, and their dog, Buster.
